Manifesto · § 2.13

Basic Law

The universal, internationally-agreed rules that protect the Grid Network: no invasions, no harm to innocents, no harm to the planet.

A set of laws universally agreed upon to protect the GRID network. The premise:

  • Prevent invasions and disruptions between Grid interactions.
  • Protect innocent individuals from being attacked by those outside their communities.
  • Protect the planet from harm outside Grids.

Communities carry out their own set of laws within their Grids and must enforce them — you must consider a Grid's laws before joining it.

Non-negotiable emergency right

All individuals have the right to call emergency services when in danger, even if they are part of a Grid with laws that don't protect them from the danger at hand.

Universality

Basic laws must be internationally agreed upon, breaking the boundaries between borders, religions, and cultures. The basic laws mirror the essence of human history — unprovoked harm against an innocent individual is universally accepted as unlawful. From individual to group scale (including the premise of invasion), these acts are outlawed to keep peace and harmony between Grids, eliminating aggressive intrusions targeted at communities without consent.
